Maximising Independence and Enhancing Living

About Us

Yorke Peninsula Occupational Therapy is a private allied health business that has been developed to provide a wide range of services for the local community on the Yorke Peninsula.

All of our team members have completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy, and are registered with The Allied Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency. We are also members of Occupational Therapy Australia.

"Occupational therapy is a client-centred health profession concerned with the health and well-being through occupation. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. Occupational Therapists achieve this outcome by working with people and communities to enhance their ability to engage in the occupations they need to, want to, are expected to do, or by modifying the occupation, or the environment to better support their occupational engagement."
